Movie Review: Jannat 2

Story: Jannat 2 revolves around Sonu Dilli (Emraan Hashmi), a street-smart Hustler and local gun dealer, and anxiety ridden cop Pratap (Randeep Hooda). Later, Sonu shows share unlikely partnership with Pratap against the murky belly of the gun trade, in search of his personal heaven, as he falls in love with a handsome young doctor Jhanvi (ESA Gupta) Story Treatment: Although the movie belongs to the Jannat franchise, it is predictable, boring and extremely dull in the first half. During the second part too creates no hope for most engrossing moment for the onlooker. Delhi is used as a background for the crime of arms trafficking and romanticism was induced to make Jannat 2 complete masala flick, but the test is bad taste. The pursuit game between police and criminals are probably more innovative when it comes to the school children who are trying something different.

Star Cast: Emraan Hashmi tries his best to pull the film on his shoulders, but he barely manages to do so because of a bad script. However, the actor is an effort in parts. Esa Gupta hardly gets any role, and see unprocessed as an actress. We wonder if the little skin show and smooches will capture any attention. The chemistry between Emraan and ESA is a boring thing. Randeep Honda walk away with the cake, and cry aloud for attention with his amazing talent. Zeeshan Ayyub and Arif Zakaria to leave an impact.

Direction: Kunal Deshmukh fails Cash on the talent of the Bhatt camp and makes the movie boring and mind-numbing clock. The loss rate is clearly visible in an effort to make the film a masala entertainer. Abuse and adult jokes too can add a pinch of entertainment for the film. The lack of script and story telling approach makes Kunal lacking a few Brownie points.

Dialogues / film / music: Dialogue is simple, a special mention of Emraan's pronunciation as Delhiite, is pretty impressive! Abuse plays an important part of the conversations, especially as they emphasize the roughness of the arms dealer. Music is the hero of the film and songs to provide you the much needed breathing space that they need while watching the film. Your Hi Mera, Ground Deedar Hua is a beautiful compositions and the impressive treatment of the songs to make them sympathetic treatment. Cinematography is decent, while the persecution scenes between police and arm dealers are weak.

Ups and downs: Music is one of the reasons that might develop a curiosity for the film. A predictable and extremely tiresome attempt to be a reason to stop you from buying a ticket. Although the climax could jump a surprise, but then it becomes too late to react to assessment. For all those Emraan fans, who can not bear anything to see him on screen, this one's for you. But still we say, be careful. This Jannat is far from fairytales!
